Preparing for a boy...

As the weeks get closer to the day we find out the gender of our dear second child, I can't wait to start planning the room design, and get started on my quilt. My options are simple if we have another boy. Kyron and this one will only be two weeks apart, so all the clothes will be in the right season. I have all boy things, which makes it easier for me to decide on things. The hardest part for me right now is room decor, only because the room is so small. We have tried to advise a plan to fit everything we need in the room, but I still am not sure about the color situation. Right now everything is Thomas the Train. Which is fine, but for a baby boy, the theme was baby animals. So, I haven't figured out how I will incorporate that into the baby's side of the room. On the bright side here is the crib we have decided to get.Because of how small the room is, this is going to work perfect for everything, storage for the changing station and dresser room for clothes. I have thought about just redoing the whole room and make it a mutual theme like thisBut the thought of having to redo everything is not going to work for my sanity! So I will have to compromise somewhere. Lastly, here is a little look at the bunk bed we plan to purchase for when they get a little older. It's a good size, not to bulky and will fit good in the room, with enough room for a dresser or two, or maybe a crib! :)It's bottom bunk is on the ground so this next baby could potentially go in it when transferring over to a toddler bed.
