This year we went to the Portage County Dairy Breakfast in Amherst. There was so much to do there, and the kids loved it. We forgot the wagon so we had to keep a close eye on Kyron who wanted to just RUN! The line looks long but it didn't take us but 5-10 minutes to be seated.
The Process was quite interesting, I mean how are you going to feed thousands of people in such a short time? Pancakes, Eggs, Sausage, Cheese curds, Milk, Pure maple syrup. It was all very good, maybe a little too much dairy for one meal...
There were many animals the kids loved to stop and look at...some more interesting then others, and it didn't take very long before they were on to the tractors.
Of course there was more dairy to consume, we all had ice cream, there was also deep fried cheese curds...
There were also a lot of other things to see and do, the tractor pull, Dairy Jeopardy, and the hay ride.
and you know you live in Wisconsin when something like this doesn't surprise you...
We also saw our fair share of cowboy boots!
