Well we took our first trek out on the Wisconsin River yesterday afternoon. We celebrated Kyle's accomplishment of finishing his welding program at Midstate. We had a light lunch and took the boat out after charging it up. Our minds wondered as we looked acrossed the water and saw fish jumping up and splashing the water. Aaron and I took the paddle boat out to get a closer look.
It was so hot, but worth it on that beautiful day! Once we finally got going the breeze was nice, but the water was better! Nice and cool and once you got use to it, kinda warm at times. We played on the sandbar, and threw the frisbee and football around. One of these days we'll get a volleyball net set up there and have a grand ole time!
Kyron didn't want to get down at first but once he got use to the water, we couldn't get him out. He had a blast throwing the football up and watching it splash down in front of him! Once we were just about ready to go we took him out on the jetski, not very fast of course, but it was a fun ride, he loved it!
When we got back they were ready to leave but the boat wouldn't start so Aaron had to "tow" us with the jetski, it was definately something we hadn't tried yet, but a fun experience! We are looking forward to the many more boat rides of the summer.
