What's Fat?

Everyone makes New Year's resolutions, because it's a "new year" and a fresh start to things....really, I once heard someone say that the only thing that changes is the year itself, it's just a continuation of life, at the beginning of the calender. Well, once again, I have been hit with my weight. I was really strong at the beginning of the year last year and worked for two months to loose 20 pounds. I was proud and have kept it off for the rest of the year. I have tried other things in there during the summer and then closer to the wedding I was just in, and I found myself going back to my note I made on my progress on Facebook. I can tell you that we had plans for this last year that didn't turn out the way "we" had planned, and that is not a bad thing. It just made it harder for me to continue to follow my weight loss plan. God obviously had other plans, and I have been grateful for the work He has done in my life this past year, but it has come time that I need to start working on this again. I seriously can not believe that it has been one full year since I started, and only two months of work, but I look back at my pictures of the year before and I can definitely see the difference that two months made. Now I just need to do it again, and stay with it. Things are going to change, and hey, they might turn out this year, who knows. All I know is that when we went on our honeymoon, I was 120 pounds in a bikini in Texas at a water park, and not to say that will happen again, but when we take our trip for our 5 year anniversary this year, to a water park, I will be looking good in whatever bathing suit I decide to wear. So Happy New Year, and good luck to everyone who is making resolutions, especially ones for loosing weight. I'm right there with ya! If you have any questions, feel free to check out my note on Weight loss on Facebook, I even have a before picture on there. This will be my before picture for this year, so technically my "after" picture from before, LOL!
