Rain, Rain, GO AWAY..

Lately we have had an excessive amount of Rain, close to 6 inches in our area, raining all the way through the night for 8 hours straight, which as cause a lot of major flooding in our town. The river reached heights not seen in years, and destroyed many people's homes and a monument that was over 25 years old. Our house has had water in the basement every other time it rained and luckly God has spared our house this time around. My grandparents live on the river and they were not so fortunate, nothing major I believe, but a lot of work ahead of them. It was such a scary site to see, the water rising higher and higher, and flowing faster and faster, it took over the town. When we looked across the bridge all we could see was water, there were no banks, just water to water from road to road, even over the roads and up to people's houses and buildings. The whole town was out and about for a few days at the exciting yet frighting happening of the river overflowing. I managed to get a few pictures some might not be the greatest because it was getting dark.
