Laughter...the BEST medicine!

Just a few stories to make you giggle! Kyron has been potty training for a while now, and he gets a treat every time he goes. We bought a whole bag of M&M's and put them in a bowl on the counter. If we ever forget to give him a treat afterwards, he is sure to remind us. One day Mark gave him a treat and he took it and just looked at it then he looked up at Mark and said "Duba-you!" We thought it was the funniest thing, but he knows what a W looks like. Apparently our bag of M&M's are a fluke because all of ours have W's on them! We stayed at my parents house for a week while they went down to Arizona, and Kyron slept in a pack-n-play in our room. We got up every morning to wake Ryan up and this particular morning I went back and laid in bed for a little while. Kyron then woke up in his crib, stood up, and said "Cock-a-doo-do-doo." Mark and I couldn't stop laughing. We went to my sister's for a little bit and watched her two kids while she ran to Aaron's work. They were both sleeping when we got there, but woke up within 10 minutes of her leaving. Kaiden is 8 months older than Kyron and loves to play with him. When I went upstairs to get Brinley Kyron followed me and Kaiden stayed downstairs. Then next thing I know, Kaiden is yelling from downstairs "Kyron, come downstairs," and Kyron would respond with "Coming!" This went on for a few minutes as Kyron made his way down the stairs, but the irritation in Kyron's voice whenever he said, "Coming" was halarious! A few phrases we've heard more frequently. "What's goin' on?" "What you doing?" "No touch it!" "Play with puzzle." "Watch SuperWhy" (One of his favorite PBS shows) "Go downstairs." "Mimi and Papa's house." "A, B, C Book." "One, Three, Go!" (Still don't know why he skips two) It's amazing how he has grown this past year. His words are so clear so I know what he is talking about. I'm so proud that he has learned so much and for the most part from us! We can't wait to share in the joy of teaching him more about the alphabet and numbers this next year. He got the leapfrog tag junior for his birthday with books about number, letters, shapes, and colors, and he loves them. So take every moment when it comes and share the laughter with someone you love.
